Download Restore Rocket Chat Database Script on Ubuntu 18.04

IP Address 	: 10.66.100.20	//Backup server
IP Address 	: 10.66.100.21	//Restore server
Installation step : 		//Manual from source code
OS 		: Ubuntu 18.04
RAM 		: 2GB
vCPU 		: 2
Disk 		: 50 GB
Service 	: Rocket Chat Database Backup & Restore

Using below command for restore rocket chat database.

lsb_release -a && ip r

Copy from backup to restore server using scp command.

scp 06-12-21.tar.gz [email protected]:/var/backups/mongobackups/

Going to below folder

cd /var/backups/mongobackups/

Extract this file using below command.

tar xf 06-12-21.tar.gz

/var/backups/mongobackups/06-12-21

Download restore script

wget https://script.technologyrss.com/linux/rocket.chat/restore-rocket-chat-mongodb.sh

Setup executive permission

chmod 755 restore-rocket-chat-mongodb.sh

Then run this script using below command.

./restore-rocket-chat-mongodb.sh

Then enter your backup directory.
